Just Announced: New Marine Park at Exmouth Gulf
The Western Australian Government has recently announced they will be creating a new marine park at Exmouth Gulf, recognising its environmental significance and cultural values. This decision carries important regulatory implications for Oil and Gas operators active in the region. Companies may face stricter environmental assessments, with greater scrutiny applied to potential impacts on marine life and the environment in the area. Operators will need to demonstrate strong environmental management practices and ensure compliance with legislation, which may affect both project timelines and approvals.

Subsea Energy: 'Company of the Year' Finalist
We were proud and excited to have been nominated and short-listed as a finalist in the Subsea Energy Australia Awards for 'Company of the Year'. This recognition highlighted the strength of our expertise and collaborative approach, particularly through our partnership with Atteris on decommissioning projects. Being recognised alongside other industry leaders was a testament to the hard work and commitment of our team, and we were honoured to be acknowledged for the positive impact we are making in the sector. Congratulations to the winner and other finalists!
Importance of Accurate Data Collection
Accurate data collection is critical to ensuring your reporting is both reliable and compliant. We regularly review clients’ data and often pick up inaccuracies. This has included mixed-up units, incorrect dates, and differences in reporting across team members. Even small errors can have significant impacts on Annual Performance Reports (APRs) and distort long-term trend monitoring, making it harder to track performance and identify real improvements or areas of concern. Establishing consistent procedures and applying regular checks helps safeguard data quality. Our team can help you strengthen your data collection processes, spot inconsistencies, and ensure your APRs are accurate and reliable. Sometimes it helps to have an outside eye!
